This sculpture consists of two clusters of red vertical fibreglass rods.  One cluster stand at 8 metres tall on one side of Cuba street, and on the other side a cluster standing 6.5 metres tall.  Each rod signifies a tree, together they form a forest, perhaps invoking the spirits of trees that once stood in the area.

Koonstantin Dimopoulos was born in Port Said, Egypt to Greek parents and grew up near the mouth of the Suez Canal.  Due to political upheaval his family moved to Wellington, New Zealand when he was eight.

This sculpture is located on Cuba Street, Palmerston North, New Zealand.
