Located in the vicinity of Eden Park, this sculpture by revered artist Billy Apple, references the flags and markings found on the sports field.  The main flag speaks to the corner flag, but also due to it’s height and size acts as the perfect meeting spot, like the tour guide who raises a flag to gather their group.

Corner Post was opened to the public in December 2010, and relates to the nearby Waipero Swamp Walk, another public artwork by Billy Apple.
